This year’s Women’s History Month theme is Leading the Change: Women Shaping a Sustainable Future. Join the NECC Librarians as we celebrate the visionary women who are defining what it means to build a sustainable future—one that supports healthy ecosystems, equitable economies, and strong educational foundations. We will highlight leaders such as Rachel Carson, Jane Goodall, Malala Yousafzai, and more, whose work exemplifies sustainable leadership through breakthroughs in education, innovations in environmental stewardship, and advocacy for social and economic justice. Check out NECC Library’s Women’s History Month booklist to discover these interesting stories and learn more about the impact women have in workplaces, communities, and across the world. This event will be held at Haverhill Commons (C201).
Contact Laura Mondt, Susan Leonardi, or Sarah Regan-Kelly for more information about the event.
