SUMMARY:First-Year Knights Scholarship - Spring 2025 Application Period
DESCRIPTION:After the last scholarship application period closed\, we were fortunate to receive several generous gifts to the First-Year Knights Scholarship Fund.  \n$14\,000 is available to award for spring semester students.  Scholarships award amounts will be no less than $500. \nFirst year students are encouraged to apply. \nThe application period is open now and will close on January 17\, 2025.  \nPlease share this application link: NECC Knights First-Year Scholarship – Northern Essex Community College Scholarships \n All students have access to the NECC scholarship portal with their NECC school issued email and password.  \nEligibility:  \n▪ Applicants must be in their first year at NECC (first enrolled in Fall 2024 or admitted for Spring 2025).  \n▪ No GPA requirement to apply.  \n▪ A degree seeking student intending to complete their Certificate and/or Associate degree at NECC.  \n▪ Must enroll in 6 or more credits in spring semester.  \n▪ A letter of recommendation from a coach\, teacher\, spiritual advisor\, employer\, etc. is required. All student types: high school seniors\, including those who have or are enrolled in Early College or Dual Enrolled courses\, GED recipients\, transfer students\, veterans\, and adult learners are welcome to apply. \n  \n Print View

SUMMARY:NECC Internship Stipend | Spring 2025 Applications
DESCRIPTION:Are you a current student doing an internship for course credit this spring semester? Consider applying for a stipend! \nNorthern Essex Community College is providing stipends to assist students completing a for-credit\, unpaid or underpaid internship\, or other experiential learning. This is intended to help alleviate the cost of expenses and the reduced ability to work while completing this academic experience. We have limited stipends available and anticipate a competitive application pool. Practicums and clinicals could be considered eligible for this stipend; however\, some programs have external accreditation restrictions that prohibit them from receiving payment for experiential learning hours required for licensure (e.g.\, Respiratory Care\, Sleep Technologist). \n  \nApplications will be accepted from January 5th until February 2nd at 11:59 pm. \nReview the eligibility criteria\, guidelines\, and application here. \n Print View
