DESCRIPTION:Visit UMass Boston’s waterfront campus\, meet with faculty\, financial aid\, and admissions staff\, or to apply.  \nSaturday\, April 26 @10:00 a.m.  Transfer Open House    UMass Boston Transfer Information  \nUMass Boston’s Free Tuition Commitment.\n As announced last year\, UMass Boston’s Beacon Pledge program has launched\, with the first eligible group starting in the fall 2025 semester. Part of our commitment to keeping college-going costs affordable and clear\, Beacon Pledge allows Massachusetts residents who meet certain income requirements\, and enroll full-time\, to attend for $0 in tuition and mandatory fees. \nNo special application is necessary – students just need to apply for admission and submit a FAFSA or MASFA prior to June 1. More details about the requirements can be found on our Beacon Pledge page. \nFive New Major Options Will be Available This Fall.  \nUMass Boston’s AACSB-accredited College of Management now offers five new business majors. These new bachelor’s programs will provide even more opportunities for students of business and help them to stand out in a competitive job market.
