NECC\u2019s Executive Director of Marketing, Keith Paul, and Director of Public Relations, Melissa Bouse, were on hand to accept the awards at the organization\u2019s national conference in New Orleans, Louisiana.<\/p>\n<p>The Paragons are NCMPR\u2019s highest honors, recognizing outstanding achievement in design and communication at community and technical colleges. It\u2019s the only national competition that honors excellence exclusively among marketing and PR professionals at two-year colleges.<\/p>\n<p>NCMPR received 2000 entries across 47 categories. Marketing and PR industry professionals judged entries and selected gold, silver, and bronze winners.<\/p>\n<p>Northern Essex was honored to receive:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gold:<\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/issuu.com\/northernessex\/docs\/202404-059_alumnecc_spring2024\/8\">Excellent in Writing, Long-Form, Speaking Up for Those Who Can\u2019t, feature story in Spring \u201924 edition of alumnecc<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Gold:<\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/playlist?list=PLCCtOAuQjFgaAWVJUT_9Nt4pbIKrxpXBY\">Successful DEI Marketing, Neuroinclusivity Videos<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Silver:<\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/solutions.necc.edu\/\">Microsite\/Landing Page, Business Solutions<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Bronze:<\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/issuu.com\/northernessex\/docs\/202404-059_alumnecc_spring2024\">Newsletter, Spring \u201924 edition of alumnecc magazine<\/a><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_29024\" style=\"width: 459px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/necc.edu\/newsroom2\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2026\/02\/1743349018538.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-29024\" class=\" wp-image-29024\" src=\"http:\/\/necc.edu\/newsroom2\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2026\/02\/1743349018538.jpg\" alt=\"Melissa Bouse and Keith Paul pose with four glass awards \" width=\"449\" height=\"337\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-29024\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Melissa Bouse and Keith Paul pose with NECC&#8217;s Paragon Awards at NCMPR&#8217;s masquerade-themed ceremony and dinner.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The awards were part of a three-day conference featuring workshops, breakout sessions, networking opportunities, and keynote addresses specifically geared toward marketing professionals at two-year institutions. Paul and Bouse were also featured presenters at the conference, delivering a session on finding opportunities for leadership and growth within small teams.<\/p>\n<p>NCMPR celebrated its 50th anniversary in New Orleans. The organization will host smaller,<a href=\"https:\/\/necc.edu\/newsroom\/2024\/10\/28\/marketing-communications-department-strikes-gold\/\"> regional conferences<\/a> in the fall.
