The service is free and confidential. Students can visit <a href=\"https:\/\/app.timelycare.com\/auth\/login\">TimelyCare.com\/necc<\/a> or download the TimelyCare app to log on to access the platform.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/necc.edu\/newsroom2\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2026\/02\/Web_Size_Aspect_Ratio_1000px-NEssex_BizCard_2024.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-29097 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/necc.edu\/newsroom2\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2026\/02\/Web_Size_Aspect_Ratio_1000px-NEssex_BizCard_2024.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"499\" height=\"285\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>TimelyCare offers several different services:<\/p>\n<p><strong>TalkNow:<\/strong> 24\/7, on-demand emotional support to talk about anything, including anxiety, relationships, and depression.\u00a0 Unlimited access.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Scheduled Counseling:<\/strong> Choose the day, time, and mental health provider that works best for you.\u00a0 Limit to 6-10 visits.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Self-Care Content:<\/strong> Visit the Explore page within TimelyCare for guided self-care content.\u00a0 Unlimited access.<\/p>\n<p>NECC Dean of Students Jason Arey says TimelyCare is meant to complement existing counseling services at the college.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This increases the breadth of what we can offer students. If a student needs to talk to someone at midnight, they can find someone of their choice and make that connection instantly.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Through the app, students can also opt to connect with local services and referrals.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;They can refer students to specific services and address things like housing insecurity, food insecurity, childcare needs,&#8221; says Arey.<\/p>\n<p>Arey notes that there are many reasons a student might seek out counseling, and TimelyCare helps to strengthen that safety net for all students.<\/p>\n<p>For more information about Counseling and Psychological Services available at NECC, visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/necc.edu\/student-life\/support-services\/counseling-services\/\">webpage<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Northern Essex Community College has partnered with virtual health and well-being provider TimelyCare to offer students round-the-clock access to mental health support.
