\"\"<\/a>Northern Essex Community College is recruiting students now for a free three-week Certified Pharmacy Technician Training Program<\/a>, that begins on June 1.<\/p>\n

The program includes 60 hours of online instruction, as well as an optional 80-hour externship. Graduates are prepared to take the pharmacy technician certification examination and to work under a registered pharmacist in a hospital, home infusion center, or pharmacy.<\/p>\n

Classes are held Monday through Friday from 10 to noon and an additional two hours of self-directed study is required each day.<\/p>\n

This program is supported by the Massachusetts Department of Higher Education\u2019s Training Resources and Internship Network (TRAIN) grant program, which is designed to support long-term unemployed, under-employed and new entrant adult workers who seek to enter\/renter the workforce and address workforce shortages.<\/p>\n

Northern Essex Community College has campuses in both Haverhill and Lawrence.
