Enjoy!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Nelly Padua \u201993<\/strong>, DNP, FNP, CNE<\/p>\n<p><strong>Current Job Title:<\/strong> Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, <a href=\"https:\/\/glfhc.org\/\">Greater Lawrence Family Health Center <\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>What is the most rewarding part of your career?<\/strong> \u201cThe most rewarding part of my career has been having the privilege of being involved with some families for many years, taking care of their health care needs, and watching their children grow up to become productive members of society.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is the biggest misconception that people have about the nursing field?<\/strong> \u201cI think the biggest misconception is that nursing is an easy career. Many think we went into nursing because it was an easy path to employment. Starting with the intense and difficult workload of classes and clinical hours during nursing school, nursing requires not only treating patients who are sick, but also offering emotional support, advice, and education to families. And let\u2019s not forget the documentation and lots of paperwork.
