He is the winner of the Emmy Award for his documentaries \u201cPaso a Paso on the Camino de Santiago\u201d as the best documentary of 2014 and Croatto \u201cLa Huella de un Emigrante\u201d in 2016.<\/p>\n<p>He is also a musician, composer, and host of radio and television programs. He pioneered the movement of the New Puerto Rican Song and co-founded the group Haciendo Punto in Otro Son, along with Tony Croatto. He is the composer of innumerable songs, and writer of the satire group Los Rayos Gamma. He is the author of 12 books of different genres. In 2017 he released his first novel \u201cUn espejo en la selva,\u201d which won two awards as best story novel and best drama and action novel of the Latino International Book Award.<\/p>\n<p>For the last 17 years, P\u00e9rez has worked in the field of motivational speaking. He develops workshops and conferences around the concept of &#8220;Humortivaci\u00f3n&#8221;. The premise is that humans, no matter their mental, emotional and spiritual development, need to constantly focus on getting the most out of their talents and potential. His talks are fun but above all motivating. En 2017 lanz\u00f3 su primera novela &#8220;Un espejo en la selva&#8221;, que gan\u00f3 dos premios como mejor novela de cuentos y mejor drama y novela de acci\u00f3n del Premio Internacional del Libro Latino.<\/p>\n<p>Durante los \u00faltimos 17 a\u00f1os, P\u00e9rez ha trabajado en el campo de la motivaci\u00f3n Desarrolla talleres y conferencias en torno al concepto de &#8220;Humortivaci\u00f3n&#8221;. La premisa es que los humanos, sin importar su desarrollo mental, emocional y espiritual, necesitan enfocarse constantemente en sacar el m\u00e1ximo provecho de sus talentos y potencial. Sus charlas son divertidas pero sobre todo motivadoras.
