Kenneth and Jo-Ann Checicki opened their North Andover home to the Women of NECC and their guests for the annual June event.<\/p><\/div>\n

More than 75 guests of the Women of Northern Essex Community College<\/a> attended the 22nd annual June fundraising event on Saturday, June 9, at the home of Kenneth and Jo-Ann Checicki in their North Andover home.<\/p>\n

The Checickis hosted the annual fundraiser which raised more than $11,000 for scholarships.\u00a0 The event featured cocktails, a buffet dinner, a silent auction, and a raffle.<\/p>\n

The event was catered by NexDine Catering and Flowers by Steve, Inc. donated floral arrangements.<\/p>\n

The Women of NECC is a volunteer organization dedicated to assisting Northern Essex and its students. The organization generates funds for student scholarships and special projects by conducting a variety of fundraising events throughout the year, including a Fall Membership Tea and a June Gala Open House event.<\/p>\n

Since their founding 22 years ago, the Women have raised over half million dollars for the college and awarded $330,000 in scholarships to 410 deserving NECC students.<\/p>\n
