{"id":27866,"date":"2018-06-26T16:30:50","date_gmt":"2018-06-26T20:30:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/necc.edu\/newsroom2\/2018\/06\/26\/necc-golf-tournament-is-a-success\/"},"modified":"2026-05-14T16:22:29","modified_gmt":"2026-05-14T20:22:29","slug":"necc-golf-tournament-is-a-success","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/necc.edu\/newsroom\/2018\/06\/26\/necc-golf-tournament-is-a-success\/","title":{"rendered":"NECC Golf Tournament is a Success"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"attachment_18266\" style=\"width: 210px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/media-old\/2018\/06\/IMG_0242.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-18266\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-18266\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/media-old\/2018\/06\/IMG_0242-200x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-18266\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">NECC&#8217;s Allison Gagne prepares to putt.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>More than $14,000 was raised for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.necc.mass.edu\">Northern Essex Community College<\/a> athletics program during its inaugural golf tournament held Monday, June 18, at Atkinson Country Club in Atkinson, NH.<\/p>\n<p>With more than 30 event sponsors, the tournament attracted 112 golfers representing 28 teams.<\/p>\n<p>The top three teams and scores were:<\/p>\n<p>First Place, score of -13 Dan Hammond, Zach Smith, Michael Moreau and Rod McQuade; Second Place, score of -11 Stephen Richard, Frank Ricciardi, George Naslas and Paul Jensen; and Third Place, score of -10 James McCarthy, Scott Baughman, Ross McWilliams and Kevin Furey.<\/p>\n<p>The Men\u2019s Longest Drive went to Mike Moloney, NECC\u2019s volunteer assistant baseball coach.
