Hawrylciw\u00a0Theater on the third floor in the Spurk Building on the Haverhill campus over two weekends beginning Friday, Oct. 5, at 7 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>The play will run Friday and Saturday Oct. 5 &amp; 6 and 12 &amp; 13 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 7, and Thursday, Oct. 11, at 4 p.m. General admission tickets are $12 and $10 for students and seniors.<\/p>\n<p>Co-directed by Brianne Beatrice, NECC theater professor and advisor to the Topnotch Players, and NECC student Sarah Durning, the play portrays an aspiring young director who rampages against the art created by his mother\u2019s generation. A young actress wrestles with an aging Hollywood star for the affections of a renowned novelist and everyone discovers just how disappointing love, art, and growing up can be.<\/p>\n<p>In this irreverent, contemporary, and very funny remix of Chekhov\u2019s \u201cThe Seagull,\u201d \u00a0Posner stages a timeless battle between young and old, past and present, in search of the true meaning of it all.
