{"id":28276,"date":"2017-03-09T18:08:56","date_gmt":"2017-03-09T23:08:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/necc.edu\/newsroom2\/2017\/03\/09\/pianist-constantine-finehouse-to-perform-at-necc\/"},"modified":"2026-05-14T17:06:16","modified_gmt":"2026-05-14T21:06:16","slug":"pianist-constantine-finehouse-to-perform-at-necc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/necc.edu\/newsroom\/2017\/03\/09\/pianist-constantine-finehouse-to-perform-at-necc\/","title":{"rendered":"Pianist Constantine Finehouse to Perform at NECC"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"attachment_15310\" style=\"width: 209px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/media-old\/2017\/03\/Constantine-Finehouse-Newsroom.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-15310\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-15310\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/media-old\/2017\/03\/Constantine-Finehouse-Newsroom-199x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"199\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-15310\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Constantine Finehouse will perform a solo concert at NECC on Sunday, March 26.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Renowned pianist Constantine Finehouse will perform a solo concert at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.necc.mass.edu\/\">Northern Essex Community College<\/a> on Sunday, March 26, at 2 p.m. in the Hartleb Technology Center on the Haverhill campus, 100 Elliott St.<\/p>\n<p>Praised by \u201cRhein Main Presse Allgemeine Zeitung,\u201d for his &#8220;interpretations of depth and maturity,\u201d Finehouse has performed extensively in the US (including in California, Colorado, Connecticut, the Carolinas, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, Michigan, New York, Rhode Island, Texas, Virginia and<\/p>\n<p>Washington) and abroad (including in Lausanne, London, Odessa, St. Petersburg, and Trieste).<\/p>\n<p>Constantine Finehouse will perform Beethoven\u2019s \u201cSonata in A-flat Major, Op. 110; Albeniz\u2019s \u2018Navarra\u2019&#8221;; W. Bolcom\u2019s, &#8220;Rochberg Variations&#8221;, and Schumann\u2019s &#8220;Noveletten&#8221;, Op. 21.<\/p>\n<p>While this is a solo concert by Finehouse, he is also performing for the season with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecmp.org\/\">Essex Chamber Music Players<\/a> (ECMP) who are in residence at NECC. \u00a0Artistic director and NECC Music Professor Emeritus Michael G.
