A faculty choreographed dance that explores confinement of both space and self will be showcased during Northern Essex Community College\u2019s Performing Arts Department spring recital Friday, April 21, and Saturday, April 22.<\/p>\n

Northern Essex\u2019s Still Point XLIV dancers will present the dance titled \u201cCon(FIND)ment\u201d at 8 p.m. at Lawrence High School\u2019s Performing Arts Center, 70-71 North Parish Road in Lawrence.<\/p>\n

This event is open to the public. Tickets will be sold at the door. Tickets are $8 for Adults, $6 for student and seniors, and $4 for children under 12.<\/p>\n

“Con(FIND)ment” was choreographed by Michelle Deane, coordinator of Northern Essex\u2019s dance program. It explores \u201cconfinement of both space and of one\u2019s inner-self. This piece was featured at the American College Dance Association Festival at SUNY Potsdam.<\/p>\n

The program includes other dances choreographed by Deane as well as students and alumni including the piece titled \u201cThe Intergalactic Journey of Discovery and Celebration\u201d.<\/p>\n
