Art work by Northern Essex Community College Art & Design students studying drawing, painting, photography, dimensional foundations, digital, interactive and multi-media, will be on display Wednesday, April 30, through Monday, May 19, in the ArtSpace in the Bentley Library on the Haverhill campus, 100 Elliott St.<\/p>\n

This event is free and open to the public. The opening reception will be held Wednesday, April 30th, from 3 to 5 p.m.<\/p>\n

The President’s Purchase Award will be awarded at 3:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

Light refreshments will be served.<\/p>\n

NECC offers an associate degree in general studies: art <\/a>which provides a two-year degree with a focus on specific area of the arts, such as fine arts, multi-media, photography, or visual communications.<\/p>\n

Gallery hours are Monday through Thursday 2 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The gallery will also be open during the NECC college commencement on Saturday morning, May 18.<\/p>\n
