Haverhill, MA (October 20, 2026) \u2014 The Northern Essex Community College Marketing Communications department is proud to share that six projects from last year were honored with awards from the National Council of Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR). The professional society just wrapped up its District 1 regional conference in Buffalo, NY. There, NECC received six medallion awards, recognizing outstanding achievement in design and communication at community and technical colleges.<\/p>\n

NECC is part of NCMPR’s District 1, along with colleges from Connecticut, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, the Canadian provinces of New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Quebec, and the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n

The NCMPR National Conference will be in Chicago, IL, in March. The Northern Essex Marketing-Communications Department has entered more pieces for consideration for the National Paragon Awards. Last year, the spring \u201925 edition of alumnecc<\/a>,\u00a0Finding the Helpers<\/em>, was awarded a silver Paragon in the magazine category.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
