Registration for HiSET
In-Person Testing:
HiSET through PSI in-person testing is available at the Academic Placement & Testing Center, Haverhill Campus. To register and set up your account to schedule appointments for HiSET, go to the HiSET Portal to create an account and schedule testing.
Cost
Effective February 6, 2023, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts will pay for a candidate’s first HiSET test in each subject plus two retakes per subject. For the promo codes, go to High School Equivalency (HSE) Testing Program – Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
Note: if you do not show, this will count as an attempted test.
When scheduling your HiSET test at an official HiSET test center, be sure to enter the promo code during the checkout.
Any payment of HSE exams by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is contingent on available funding.
Registration for GED
In-Person Testing:
In-person testing is available at the Academic Placement & Testing Center, Haverhill Campus. To register and set up your account to schedule appointments for the GED, go to the MyGED website. You will connect to Pearson VUE scheduling to select your test date.

First Time Testers
If you are scheduling your GED test at an official GED test center, est be sure to enter the promo code during the checkout.
Re-Testers
If you are taking the retest at an Official GED test center, enter the retake promo code during checkout.
