This week, Northern Essex Community College was proud to host the Special Olympics Massachusetts Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR.) The NECC-MPTC Police Academy student officers joined the LETR team, local Haverhill and NECC police officers and Special Olympics athletes as they kicked off the Final Leg right on the Haverhill Campus. 
The Special Olympics Massachusetts Summer Games start this Friday (June 5) in Boston and take place over three days. Over 1500 athletes and Unified Partners and 1000 volunteers descend on the Harvard University Athletic Complex for three days of inclusion, sports and fun.
