NECC Library Celebrates Black History Month

Celebrate Black History Month, Sunday, February 1, 2026 – Sunday, March 1, by reading a book from our curated booklists that highlights Black life, history, and culture across generations. This year’s theme, “A Century of Black History Commemorations,” marks the 100th anniversary of the national observance of Black History Month.  Visit Bentley Library – Haverhill Campus or the Lawrence Campus Library (L-007) to explore stories that inform, inspire, and encourage reflection throughout the month: NECC Reads Black History Month, and NECC Reads Black History Month Picture Books.
