Beginner Conversational Spanish
Learn how to communicate in Spanish in this interactive and comprehensive class. Using comprehensible input as well as books, videos, conversation, role playing and games, you will build up your knowledge of Spanish from the ground up. This class will focus on speaking the language with emphasis on pronunciation. Learn the rules of grammar as well as a large amount of useful vocabulary. Discover many resources to supplement your learning outside of class!
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA)
Mental Health First Aid® is an international program designed to educate the public on how to respond in a mental health emergency, and offer support to someone in emotional distress. Training allows for early detection and intervention by teaching participants about the signs and symptoms of specific illnesses like anxiety and depression, and providing concrete tools to be able to assist someone in need. NECC regularly offers MHFA training courses.

At NECC, much of our work is rooted in Appreciative Inquiry—facilitating positive change in human systems, organizations, groups, and communities. Every human system (person or community) has a core of strengths that is often hidden and/or underutilized—what is known as its positive core.
