NECC Campus Shuttle

Northern Essex Community College is thrilled to offer a shuttle service between our two campuses for the upcoming 2025/2026 Academic Year. The shuttle will facilitate schedule management options for our community, provide equitable access to classes and other academic services for both Lawrence and Haverhill students, and expand opportunities to engage in the many social and connective aspects of attending NECC.   FALL 2025 Semester Schedule below.  Additional times have been added to the Lawrence Campus for night classes.  Please note, there is no shuttle service on Fridays

MVRTA

NECC students, staff and faculty may ride any MVRTA route for free when presenting an NECC ID.

Getting From Haverhill to Lawrence

To reach NECC’s Lawrence Campus from Haverhill, take the Inbound Route 17 bus departing from in front of the Haverhill Campus to the Washington Square Transit Center in Haverhill.

You may get off at this stop to access NECC’s Haverhill Heights (160 Merrimack Street).

To continue to the Lawrence Campus, transfer at Washington Square Transit Center to the Inbound Route 1 bus, which travels to the El-Hefni Building (414 Common Street, Lawrence).

Getting From Lawrence to Haverhill

To reach NECC’s Haverhill Campus from Lawrence, take the Outbound Route 1 bus from the El-Hefni Building (414 Common Street, Lawrence) to the Washington Square Transit Center in Haverhill.

You may get off at this stop to access NECC’s Haverhill Heights (160 Merrimack Street).

To continue to the main Haverhill Campus, transfer at Washington Square Transit Center to the Outbound Route 17 bus, which stops directly at the campus.
