Write It Out: A Creative & Free Writing Hour (in collaboration with the Writing Center)
Looking for a creative outlet or a way to unwind during the workday? Join us for a relaxed writing session open to all experience levels. We’ll offer a variety of prompts to spark ideas, along with quiet time to write and optional opportunities to share. Whether you journal, tell stories, or just want to try something new, this is a welcoming space to explore your voice.

Little Kids, Big Feelings: Parenting Under 7
Navigating toddlers, “threenagers,” preschool, and the early elementary years can be both joyful and exhausting. This informal session brings together parents and caregivers of children under 7 to share real-life experiences, practical tips, and a little solidarity. Hear from seasoned parents across the college and connect with colleagues who understand the daily juggle of daycare drop-offs, bedtime routines, and everything in between.

Latinos for Education Informational 
Join representatives from Latinos for Education for an informational session highlighting the programs, resources, and support they offer to Latino professionals in education. Participants will learn about the organization’s impactful work, leadership development opportunities, and ways to connect with a growing community dedicated to advancing Latino leadership in education.

Beyond the Job Title: Hobby Edition
What hobbies help you recharge, stay creative, or bring new perspective to your work? Join colleagues for a fun and informal show-and-tell where participants can share a hobby, favorite tool, book, craft, collection, or strategy they enjoy outside of work—and reflect on how it supports balance, creativity, leadership, or personal growth. Come ready to share or simply listen and learn from others. (If mobile, bring your hobby or a product of it).
