HPL & NECC Library Listening Walk

September 30 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Join the Haverhill Public Library and the NECC Librarians for a listening walk around the NECC Haverhill campus with your audiobook, podcast, or favorite music!  Bring your phone or audiobook listening device and headphones/earbuds!

Signing Up:

Haverhill Public Library walkers sign up at HaverhillPL.org/events. NECC walkers sign up here. Please note that all participants will be asked to sign waivers before the walk begins.

Choosing a Book:

Need to find an audiobook?  We will share information about how to access audiobooks via the Libby app before the walk.  Or, get started ahead of time by adding Libby to your device and signing in with your library card number:

Arriving at NECC:

The address is 100 Elliott Street, Haverhill, MA 01830
Please park in the TC building parking lot on College Ave; this is to the right as you enter the campus.  Meet Karlee, Susan, and Grace in front of NECC’s Tech Center (TC) to start our walk around the Haverhill campus.

The Walking Route:

Walk from the Tech Center building to Kenoza Street; take a left and cross the street to Dudley Porter Trail.
Take a left onto Dudley Porter Trail; walk for about 20 minutes
Exit the trail back onto Kenoza Street (should be across from the baseball field/track). Walk through campus (past Opportunity Works building, through sports building/campus quad walkway
The final meeting spot is in front of the Bentley Library (near the Live Your Dreams statue), where we will meet to discuss our reads and enjoy snacks/refreshments.
