Logging in to M365 CoPilot
New Students:
As a new student, you are required to first log into myNECC to setup MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication). To sign in, use your student email address as your user ID: eight-digit student ID@student.necc.edu. Use your default password provided with your acceptance letter or temporary password from the IT Service Desk (978-556-3111). At first sign in, you are prompted to setup Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and create your own unique password that is used for all your student accounts. If you have any questions, call the IT Service Desk at 978-556-3111.
Returning Students:
Navigate to the myNECC page then sign in using your student email address, eight-digit student ID@student.necc.edu, for login ID and your current password. If needed, you will be prompted to update your MFA or authenticate then go directly into the myNECC portal page. If you forgot your password, select Forgot Password. Follow the steps to create a new password. If your myNECC account was not previously setup, contact the IT Service Desk at 978-556-3111 for a temporary password.
Please note: The password set in your myNECC account is the same password used for other student services requiring password access. M365 CoPilot and myNECC are now used to change a password.
You can also log in to your M365 CoPilot Outlook email account using: https://outlook.com/student.necc.edu.

M365 CoPilot and myNECC are used for password management. To change an active password, sign into your account then click in the circle, that typically contains your initials, in the upper right corner of the open window. In the list that opens, select View Account. Locate the Password Tile then click on the CHANGE PASSWORD link. After a password is created or changed, allow up to 30 minutes for the password to sync to your other NECC accounts.
To replace a forgotten password, sign into myNECC then select Forgot Password. Follow the steps there to create a new password.
